We're looking for a person that will be responsible for the technical operational aspect of the virtual event platform. 

First 2-3 months you will learn all there is to know about Kaltura’s Virtual Event platform; about the configurations, content updates, coordination, and different site operations. 

After qualifying and passing the internal training period you will become a part of our Site Operations team, managing event operations on Kaltura Virtual Events. 

The working time in this role requires availability in an APAC time zone, Monday thru Friday, with flex work hours. It is a full remote position for individuals based in Japan. As we operate globally, occasional weekend, holiday, or late-hour work may be necessary to meet the demands of our operations. 


Day-to-day Responsibilities: 

  • Responsibility for all site operation tasks (planning during event monitoring, configuration of virtual events, content upload, site mapping and quality assurance) pre, during and post event. 
  • Attending both internal and external meetings to represent the technical operations lead role in your event. 
  • In our collaborative work environment, we actively support and assist our fellow team members, stepping in whenever necessary. This includes pre-event, during event and consistent knowledge sharing. 
  • Applying self-management and leadership skills when working with the team in order to successfully balance internal and external projects.  
  • Serving as the first and main technical contact point for the customer and internal delivery team to ensure proper product utilization.   
  • Contributing to the continuous expansion and improvement of internal training, knowledge bases, knowledge transfer, documentation & processes. 


  • Strong Technical proficiency (HTML, CSS, JSON knowledge is an advantage). 
  • Organizational and coordination skills. 
  • Capability to effectively prioritize, manage, and assess situations based on critical thinking. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Composure in high pressure situations. 
  • Proficient in project planning, leadership and management. 
  • Adaptability to collaborate with internal teams and clients from different cultures and time zones. 
  • Team Player and Self-Motivated: Collaborates effectively as part of a team while also displaying self-motivation and initiative in individual growth & contributions.  
  • Customer service oriented 

Advantageous Skills 

  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, AirTable and Excel 
  • Past studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related programs. 
  • Knowledge of a second language, such as Japanese, Korean, or Western European languages is desireable. 



  • Must be fluent in English 
  • Flexibility to work with different time-zones and varying hours  
  • Based in Japan 
  • Full time availability (occasional shifts anytime within 24/7)
