Our 8-week internship is an opportunity to gain valuable experience, expand your skills, and make meaningful contributions to our team. Our interns will work alongside our dynamic team to gain practical experience and contribute to exciting projects. This internship offers hands-on learning opportunities under the guidance of experienced engineers. Our interns will collaborate with our team, apply theoretical knowledge of real work challenges, and develop valuable technical skills. Position Summary: 

Under close supervision, the individual’s primary responsibility is to work with the Shared Services team on a variety of projects. In this fast-paced environment you must be able to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines, while upholding a standard of excellence and attention to detail. DeSimone is proud to work side by side with our interns during this 8-week opportunity, to give them the exposure they need to progress in their future careers.

Qualifications (Minimum and Desired): 

  • Must have a High School Diploma 
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field – Must be a rising senior 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrate prior leadership experience
  • Possess strong verbal and written communications skills 
  • Able to perform various tasks within the project team environment 
  • Must be detail oriented with strong people and team skills 
  • Have a sense of urgency and initiative essential for success 


Position Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Operations (Shared Services) team
  • Support various operations aspects of the project lifecycle
  • Updates to, and quality control of, the client relationship management (CRM) database
  • Participate in corporate risk management processes
  • Maintain a positive and constructive attitude

Work environment: Office setting - this position is in the office 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) 9am-6pm. 

Travel: none 

This position is classified as hourly, non-exempt. The hiring hourly rate for this is $25.00 per hour.
