Are you passionate about communications & tech topics? Are you a creative thinker and writer, an organized and positive mind who enjoys interacting with people? Then join the COO Office Communications Team of the Allianz Group as an intern!
The COO Office supports the Group Chief Operating Officer Barbara Karuth-Zelle in her daily tasks and responsibilities. Within this fast-paced international work environment, our communications team supports her internal & external communication activities related to the strategic agenda in the area of Operations & IT.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • As a member of the COO communications team, you will have the opportunity to work on key projects and initiatives, such as: 
  • Organizing internal events with participants from around the world; 
  • Maintaining and managing communities on the Group intranet; 
  • Producing internal and external communications material: blog posts, articles, newsletters, emails, presentations...; 
  • Social media (LinkedIn): content creation, analytics, monitoring, and participation in strategy definition; 
  • Contacting and cooperating with stakeholders from different departments and project teams; 
  • You will take on other topics and responsibilities depending on your interests and skills (i.e., ESG topics).

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Currently enrolled in a master's degree program (preferred) in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Technology; 
  • Excellent communication & writing skills in English (native or near native), German is a plus; 
  • Familiar with common office applications (O365, PPT, Word, Excel, etc.) & Canva (other tools are a plus).
  • Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year

  • We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:

    • Certificate of enrollment (exception gap year)

    • Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience with social media, specifically LinkedIn, and event planning; 
  • Project management basics;
  • Interest in digitalization and IT topics is valuable; 
  • Reliable, detail-oriented and organized way of working; 
  • Open to work independently and to take over responsibility; 
  • Curious, creative, fast learner, resilient; 
  • Flexible team player with an open mind and a good sense of humor.
