Operations Manager (Remote)
Job Description
Our client is an established, growing RIA managing $600+ mil AUM seeking a personable, detail oriented and reliable Operations Manager. Your superior client centric skills combined with detail oriented, accuracy, high level communication and leadership talents will be critical. The ideal Operations Manager has strong organizational skills, is highly efficient and a proactive independent worker to support the lead wealth advisor and staff. This position requires a fast-paced working environment and is open to remote position.
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ability to demonstrate high-touch and exceptional UHNW client experience
Knowledge of servicing complex cases such as trusts, business owners, retirement and tax planning documents
Identify, assess and provide effective problem solving servicing and operations solutions for accounts
Maintain daily office operations including onboarding, money movement, RMDs and back office operations
client relationships through pro-active communication and prompt responses to client requests and inquiries
Ensure client documents and information are compliant
Assist in the creation and production of materials needed for client meetings
Provide liaison role with custodian to ensure procedures are accurate
Responsible for support executive team reporting needed with annual audits, regulatory filings, and additional ad-hoc projects
Add and maintain client data, operational notes and documents in Client Relationship Management system
Qualifications:
10+ Years of experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services
Strong knowledge of investment and portfolio administration such as fund transfers and withdrawals, RMDs, capital gains, and losses, calculation of stepped-up cost basis, ACATs, new account documentation, and classification of securities
Ability to demonstrate specific examples of experience with UHNW clients and operations background
Strong collaborative work ethic, problem solving and proactive approach, ability to demonstrate methods of efficiency and provide recommendations for workflow systems improvement to contribute in a fast-paced performance-driven environment
Polished communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all clients and office personnel. This includes both written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently
Experience with the Fidelity custodial platform is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; excel, word, powerpoint, google docs
Strong technology skills in video chat, google docs, and Junxure preferred
